By downloading, installing, or using the Fasal Seva application ("App") and website ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Fasal Seva, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Fasal Seva is a precision agriculture platform that provides:
- Satellite-based crop health monitoring (NDVI, NDWI, NDRE analysis)
- AI-powered farming recommendations via Sevak AI (powered by Google Gemini)
- Smart irrigation scheduling based on weather, soil, and crop data
- Real-time weather updates and alerts
- IoT sensor integration for soil moisture and NPK analysis
- Crop disease detection through image analysis
- Voice-based AI assistant in multiple Indian languages
3. User Accounts
- You must provide accurate and complete information during registration
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
- You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service
- One account per user; sharing accounts is not permitted
4. Advisory Disclaimer
The recommendations provided by Fasal Seva — including irrigation schedules, disease diagnosis, fertilizer suggestions, and crop advice — are advisory in nature. While we utilize advanced AI and satellite technology, users should apply their own judgment and consult local agricultural experts for critical decisions. Fasal Seva is not liable for crop losses, financial damages, or any other consequences resulting from reliance on the App's recommendations.
5. Intellectual Property
The App, including all content, features, functionality, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property rights, are owned by Fasal Seva. You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use the Fasal Seva brand or logo without written permission
- Scrape, mine, or extract data from the Service for commercial purposes
6. User Content
By uploading field data, images, or other content to the Service, you grant Fasal Seva a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use this data for:
- Providing and improving our services to you
- Training and improving our AI models (anonymized data only)
- Conducting agricultural research (aggregated, non-identifiable data)
7. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Use automated tools to access the Service without permission
8. Service Availability
Fasal Seva strives to maintain continuous service availability. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:
- Scheduled maintenance and updates
- Satellite data processing delays (Sentinel-2 data updates every 5 days)
- Third-party service outages (weather APIs, Google Gemini, etc.)
- Force majeure events
9. Pricing and Payments
Fasal Seva is currently available as a free service. We reserve the right to introduce paid features or subscription plans in the future. Any pricing changes will be communicated clearly before implementation, and we will never charge without your explicit consent.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Fasal Seva shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of crops, yield, or agricultural output
- Loss of data or business interruption
- Inaccuracies in satellite data, weather forecasts, or AI recommendations
- Hardware malfunction of connected IoT sensors
11. Modifications to Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may also delete your account at any time through the app settings.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
